Many members have asked how to syringe feed medicine to a dragon.
This is what I always do when syringing. I see too many vets say to force syringes down a pried open mouth and other crazy things. Its just totally not necessary and all it does is stress you and your animal and can also cause significant damage to the teeth, gums, and mouth area, especially in smaller/younger dragons.

Ignore the part in the video where I suggest baby food. I need to update the video and haven't yet. Baby food isn't suitable for a dragon. That comment was made specifically towards a member who needed to syringe feed their dragon and the dragon wasn't holding any food down at all, and the vet gave a very specific mix of a certain squash baby food along with a few other ingredients, which was the only food the dragon held down after meds. I would never feed baby food to a dragon. If your dragon is on medication and not eating live foods, critical care is the only thing I'd feed other than live foods. Oxbow makes the best one, in my opinion. You can find it on Amazon or at your local vet's office.
