Quit waiting for it to happen

Hypo paradox

Don't wait until the last minute

QUIT WAITING FOR IT TO HAPPEN!

- So I've talked to a few million members recently who have had urgent care questions because their dragon either became severely injured or extremely ill. When its 8 p.m. and I ask, "Where's your closet vet that's open and do they see reptiles?" ninety-nine percent of the time I hear, "I don't know."

There's a lot of things that can wait until the morning for your regular vet, naturally. There's some things that can't, if the dragon has any chance of surviving at all. If your dragon starts expelling huge amounts of blood ... you need to know where the closest emergency clinic is. If your dragon is seriously injured where immediate x-rays and/or pain meds, and whatever treatment is required .... you need to know where the closest emergency clinic is. If your dragon is having sudden non-stop seizures or other thrashing activity for long periods on-end, you need to know where the closest emergency clinic is. If your dragon starts breathing fire and can't stop .... you need to know where your emergency clinic is.

Take a few minutes, for the sake of your beloved pet, and call around. Find out how far away it is and if they see reptiles. Make a note of it just in case. Its so much easier for me to tell someone to take out the information for their emergency clinic that they already have written down, instead of trying to give instructions on how to safely transport the dragon based on the injury or illness, while they're still needing to make five more phone calls to find an emergency clinic. Go on .... do it now, while you're thinking about it.

As always, I wish you and your dragons the best of health.
