*Giving your dragon a balanced diet with variety is one of the easiest things you can do for long-term dragon health.
EATING ISSUES! -- VARIETY!
I talk to so many people each week who have dragons of all different ages, and one of the biggest complaints is "my dragon won't eat!" My first question to the owner is always, "how long have you been feeding the same live food?"
Please remember that dragons of all ages need a variety. If your dragon isn't eating enough and you've been feeding dubia or super worms, or whatever staple for months on end, give them something new. Add in treat worms, change their staple, give them a small mix of foods.
Dragons can and do grow tired of eating the same foods over and over. We see so often where a new live food instantly, in many cases, can restart a slow appetite. Also, a variety of foods is always best for more well-rounded nutrition.
Note: 90% of feeding issues are often care related. When a dragon isn't eating, you need to make sure that basking temps are good, your uvb is updated, and that parasites aren't an issue. Your local vet can test for parasites.
